Data Deletion Instructions
OpenDesk users and people who interact with an OpenDesk-powered business can request deletion of eligible personal information.
Effective September 18, 2026
OpenDesk account holders
Sign in to OpenDesk and submit a deletion request through the authenticated dashboard. Identify the account and business workspace to delete. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Customers of an OpenDesk business
If you called, messaged, booked with, or otherwise interacted with a business using OpenDesk, contact that business first. The business controls its customer records and can identify the relevant interaction. The business may then delete the data or direct OpenDesk to process the request.
Connected social accounts
You may stop future access by disconnecting OpenDesk in the Integrations area and removing OpenDesk from the connected provider's app settings. Then submit an authenticated deletion request to remove eligible provider tokens and imported account data.
What happens next
After identity and authority are verified, we delete or de-identify eligible information from active systems. We may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or enforcement of our agreements. Encrypted backups age out under normal retention schedules.
More information
Deletion requests are handled according to our Privacy Policy. Requests may be submitted through the authenticated OpenDesk dashboard.
